A company page that has not posted in eight months tells every prospect who checks one thing: this business might not be active. In 2026 your LinkedIn page is a trust check buyers run before they reply, and a signal AI engines read when deciding who is credible. A ghost town quietly costs you deals.

This is a working document. Run your page through all 10 points and fix the gaps. Time to audit: 30 to 45 minutes. Outcome: a complete, active, lead-producing company page that builds trust instead of draining it.

01

Part 1

The Foundation - Points 1 to 4

Before posting strategy, the basics. A page missing core fields looks abandoned no matter how good your content is. Complete the foundation first.

02

Part 2

The Message - Points 5 and 6

A complete page that talks only about itself still fails. The message has to be about the buyer: their problem, your solution, and the words they actually use to search.

03

Part 3

The Activity - Points 7 and 8

Activity is what separates a credible page from a ghost town. You do not need to post daily or go viral. You need a steady, simple rhythm that proves the business is alive.

04

Part 4

The Proof - Point 9

A page that says it is good is forgettable. A page that shows it is good is persuasive. Social proof turns your page from a claim into evidence.

05

Part 5

The Action - Point 10

A perfect page that leads nowhere is a missed opportunity. The final point is action: give visitors a clear next step and capture them into your system so the page produces leads, not just impressions.

LinkedIn Page Scorecard

Rate your page honestly. This is a diagnostic, not a quiz.

Score your page - 6 yes/no questions:

  • Are your logo, banner, tagline, and about all complete and current?
  • Does your about lead with what you do for clients, in their words?
  • Have you posted in the last 30 days?
  • Do you post on a cadence you can actually keep?
  • Does your page show real results or social proof?
  • Does it point to a clear next step that captures the lead?

Your score:

  • 0 to 2 - Your page is a ghost town costing you credibility. Start with the foundation.
  • 3 to 4 - Complete but quiet. Add a posting cadence and social proof.
  • 5 to 6 - A credible, active page. Now drive action and capture.

Your First 7 Days

Day 1: Complete every foundation field. Logo, banner, tagline, about, details.

Days 2 to 3: Rewrite your about to lead with the buyer and their search words.

Days 4 to 5: Add social proof and pin your best piece of content.

Days 6 to 7: Set a posting cadence you can keep and add a clear action that captures into your CRM.

Ongoing: Hold the cadence. Re-score quarterly.
